Last time I went to Buenos Aires I wanted to visit a friend that lives there. I am from Mexico, so I didn't know the city. I was travelled to Chile sometime, but never to Argentina. So I took the plane and just started my trip. And I must tell I don't regret, It was one my best trips ever. I had such a beautiful time I loved it really. If you want to stay in Buenos Aires you have to make an evaluation on where to stay. Much people choose downtown, but for me the better place is Palermo, but sometimes it would be good to have the advice of some real estate agents, they can give a good orientation. You will have to avoid the rush hour if you like to have a taxi or travel by public transportation because it is really hard. But if you walk, it will be easier. Also if you are there and you don't want to walk, well you can take a bus but if you do it between 10am and 6pm it will be better because you will not get stacked on traffic. I didn't happen to me because I was warned but if you have just a few days this won't be nice, I imagine. So it is better to walk. I have stayed in Palermo, so it was a very nice Place in Buenos Aires. I must say it is one of the best areas of Buenos Aires. If you stay in Buenos Aires for a few days it will be nicer because you have all the coffee shops and restaurants and you are close to downtown and San Isidro which is a nice place of Buenos Aires. Most of the people that go for tourism don’t know San Isidro and it is, for me, one of the best areas ever if you visit Buenos Aires and even if you live in Buenos Aires.
